Vertigo is a very common problem and patient generally complain of rotation of room and objects. He may experience this state when patient changes position in bed or chair or from one posture to another or while walking he feels that he may fall. Vertigo is because of either central cause or Peripheral cause. Central cause is because of involvement of Cerebellum –part of brain and peripheral cause is because of involvement of vestibular region of inner ear. In Vertigo clinic we initially perform ENG and other investigatory procedures, locate the disease and then go for Dix-Halpike Test. Nystagmus induced during Dix- Halpike test helps in deciding which semicircular canal of Vestibule is involved and the various rehabilitation exercises like Epley’s maneuvers, Semont maneuver, Gans maneuver, Brandt-Daroff exercise, eye exercise, yoga, vertebral exercise, sensory motor rehabilitation, Deep Head Hanging exercise etc are either made to do or advised and taught to do regularly at home.
