There are lot many patients who suffer from acquired deafness but many of the times it is seen that even after application of hearing aid also patient do not get sufficient or required benefits. Patient usually complain that he is able to receive sound but unable to make out that meaning of words. This state of hearing develops because of late use of hearing aid or use of improper hearing aid as a result sensory changes takes place in auditory region of cortex of brain. In such condition we give AUDITORY TRAINING to patient and make him able to recognize the words and help him to get maximum benefits of applied hearing aid.
